M: Miss Zhao does very well in protecting the environment. She usually chooses the bus to travel instead of driving. She has written a letter to the government to ask them to stop a factory pouring dirty water into the river. Every spring, she plants trees in the fields. So far, she has planted more than 400 trees. She has also collected 50 kilogrammes of waste paper and 2,000 bottles. She's going to sell them and use the money to help students in poor areas. "If everyone makes an effort to protect the environment, the world will become much more beautiful," she says. Her students are proud of her. Now more and more boys and girls in her school join her.

W: There are several similarities between reading books and watching movies. First, both are relaxing. Second, when you read books or watch movies, you are told a story. Finally, both allow you to enter into other worlds and forget about your own life for a while. However, on the other hand, watching movies and reading books also have some differences. First of all, movies tell stories a lot more quickly than books do. When you watch a movie, the story is usually finished in two hours. But when you read a book, it might take you two or three weeks to find out how the story ends. Another difference is that when you read a book, you have to imagine what is happening and what everything looks like. When you watch a movie, however, you do not need to imagine what is going on because it is all on the screen in front of you.
