一、模仿朗读

听以下短文一遍，给你50秒钟的时间准备，然后模仿朗读。当听到"开始录音"的信号后，请在50秒钟内朗读短文，当听到要求"停止录音"的信号时，应立即中止朗读。

W: I am a plastic bottle. After a tall woman drank the water inside me, she threw me into a bin.

Early the next morning, a man took me out of the bin. He threw me and the other rubbish into the back of a truck. Then I was pushed together with the rest of the rubbish. Soon I became much thinner.

I slept for a while. When I woke up, I found myself in a smelly place. Then huge trucks came and covered me with earth. I wonder why they don't reuse or recycle me.

M: This garden sounds so special.

W: Yes. And that makes the parking lot look like a work of art.

Have you heard of Freecycle? Freecycle is a special website where you can offer or get things for free. My classmate introduced it to me several months ago. And I shared it with my family and friends because it's really helpful. I have given away most of the things I don't need through it. Two friends of mine have also joined me. With its help, I've been able to provide some children in faraway villages with books and clothes. Instead of being thrown away, they are now in the hands of people who need them.
