1.M: Have you ever been to New York?

W: Yes. I went there in 1996, 1998 and 2005.

2.M: Do you know when the Kite Festival is in Australia?

W: Yes, I studied there last year and took part in it. It usually starts on April 15th and lasts three days.

3.M: Morning, boys and girls! Do you know who designed and built the world's first car?

W: Karl Benz. He was a German engineer.

4.M: My favorite festival is the Spring Festival. What about you, Lucy?

W: The Dragon Boat Festival. I like it because I can watch the races.

5.M: Did you do anything nice on the weekend?

W: Yes. We made a plan on Friday night and went for a long bike ride in the countryside the next day and on Sunday we went shopping with some friends.
