Ladies and gentlemen,welcome to our zoo. I'd like to introduce some new kind of animal — milu deer.This kind of deer can be found only in parks and zoos in our country now. Generally speaking, a milu deer grows to a height of 1.2 meters. And a grown-up deer weighs about 150 to 200 kilograms. In summer, the deer eat grass. In autumn, they eat nuts and fruits which fall from the trees of the forest. In winter, when there is very little other food, they eat the dry leaves of the trees. The grown-up females give birth to their young in summer. When the baby deer are strong enough to stand on their feet, they join their mothers. It's very difficult to catch them because they can smell danger from a long way away. Besides, they can hear and see very well, too. The difference between milu deer and other deer is that the coat of milu deer is bright red in summer and gray in winter, and that their feet are bigger and their tails are longer.
