W: Excuse me, I bought a coat from your shop last Saturday, but when I planned to wear it I found there was a hole in it. Can I have my money back?

M: Sorry, madam, we don't accept that, but you can change it for a new one.

M: What time do you have to leave for the train station?

W: I'd better get there early,so I plan on arriving there one hour before my train leaves. The train leaves at 4:30 pm.

W: Have you booked our airplane tickets to China yet?

M: Well, the flight is canceled, so I booked two ship tickets instead.

W: OK, I'll see if we can take a taxi to the port.

M: I might go to France for a short study trip next week.

W: Although France is far, that sounds meaningful, so I guess your mom supports you.

M: Well, the trip starts when the final exam is approaching, so my mom's against it.

W: Where should we meet? At the school gate?

M: What about the library? We can study there before we go to the playground.

W: Mark, I want to go to the dining hall to get something for dinner. Would you like to go with me?

M: Besides, the lectures given by our teachers are interesting and informative. And they also ask us to do sports regularly. This is what I enjoy most. I usually play table tennis.

W: I love sports too. Exercise is a great way to keep us physically healthy as well as improving our state of mind.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. As we know, training programs are becoming more and more popular. Today I want to take up a little of your time to let you know about a short training program which is called Learning from Adventure. This program is designed to develop leadership skills. There will be lectures on public relations and administration as well as 8 outdoor activities, such as climbing mountains, going hiking in the forest, long-distance running, camping and so on. It doesn't matter if you have experience. There will be no end-of-the-program test. However, you have to hand in a full report. You are sure to improve your ability to overcome difficulties and lead others to achieve goals. The program will start on the first day of July and last 12 days. If you like, you can use part of your twenty-day paid holidays. There's no charge for this program. If you are interested, please submit your application form before June 25. Thank you.
