第一部分  听对话回答问题

本部分共有10道小题，每小题你将听到一段对话，每段对话听两遍。

1.M: Hi, Mary, what did you do last vacation?

W: I visited my grandparents in the countryside.

2.W: Hi, Jack. What do you usually do on weekends?

M: I usually read some interesting books.

3.W: You had better not put watermelon or strawberries into the salad.

M: OK. I will choose some bananas then.

4.W: When is your soccer game, Nick?

M: The day after tomorrow, Thursday.

5.W: Andrew, I hear you are crazy about DIY.

M: Yes. I've taken a course in it and I'm attending lessons every Tuesday and Saturday evening.

6.M: Cindy, I didn't see you at Linda's birthday party. What's up?

W: Oh, I really wanted to go, but I had a bad cold then.

7.M: Did you hear the news about the accident on King Road today?

W: Yes, it was terrible. Two people died and six people were hurt in it.

8.M: What will the weather be like tomorrow, Susan?

W: It will be sunny in the morning, but it will turn windy and cloudy in the afternoon.

9.W: How are you going to spend your holiday, Jim? Take a trip or enjoy yourself at home?

M: I prefer visiting some places to staying at home.

10.W: Jack, I have two rubbers. Do you want one?

M: No, thanks, Nancy. I have three rubbers. My cousin Daniel has one more rubber than I.

   本部分共有10道小题，你将听到一段对话和两篇短文，各听两遍。

  听一段对话，回答第11—12小题。

M: Hi, Judy. Where are you going on vacation during the winter holiday?

W: I'm going to Australia to visit my uncle.

M: Sounds great. Is it very cold there?

W: No. It's summer there now, so it's very hot.

M: I see. When are you going to leave?

W: I'll leave on the 11th and come back on the 25th in February.

M: Have fun!

听第一篇短文，回答第13—15小题，完成信息记录表。

    W: Students in Grade 8 had a great time during the trip on Children's Day. They went to the city zoo by bus. They sang and laughed on the way. Everyone was excited about the trip. When they got to the zoo, they saw many interesting animals. At 11:00 a.m., they watched an animal show at the zoo theatre. They liked the show and they thought the monkeys were the cleverest. There was also a flower show in the zoo. They took many photos there. They went back to school at about 3:00 in the afternoon. The teachers were very happy because the students cleaned the buses after the trip.

  听第二篇短文，回答第16—20小题。

  M: One winter afternoon, a little mouse went out for a walk. Suddenly the little mouse saw a hole. He thought it must be his friend's. So he went into it.

  To his surprise, it wasn't a mouse's house, but a snake's. Some snakes were sleeping there. When they saw the little mouse, they didn't want to catch him. They just went on sleeping. The little mouse was afraid and ran away.

  After he got home, he told his mother what happened just now. His mother said, "Don't be afraid. Snakes are dangerous, but they can't catch you now. It's time for their winter sleep. During the winter sleep, snakes never move."
