一、模仿朗读

听以下短文一遍，给你50秒钟的时间准备，然后模仿朗读。当听到"开始录音"的信号后，请在50秒钟内朗读短文，当听到要求"停止录音"的信号时，应立即停止朗读。

W:How close do you stand when you talk to a friend? You can stand close to people in the Middle East but don't stand too close to North Americans!

How about touching people? Chinese girls often walk arm in arm with their friends. But in Britain many people don't like other people to touch them at all.

Do you look at people when you talk? In some places, it isn't polite to look at people when you talk, but in other places it isn't polite to look somewhere else.

I went to England last year. I enjoyed my stay, and I noticed something interesting with the English way of life. For example, you must say Mr or Ms when you meet someone for the first time. When you get to know each other better, you can just use their first names. One day, we visited some friends and had afternoon tea together. Afternoon tea is not just a drink but a light meal at around 4 pm. In England, people usually drink tea with milk.

Fish and chips is the traditional food in England. You can buy it and eat it in special fish and chip shops, or you can take it away and eat it with your fingers. It is delicious.
