It's beautiful in the winter. A lot of buildings have been nicely restored. Some of them were built in the 17th and 18th centuries. You'll love it.

W:Hello, everyone. My name is Anna and I'm the Director of Studies. Welcome to the English Studies International School. All right, the first thing is what's happening today. From 9:00 am until 10:30 am. You'll have a written test that tests your grammar and your vocabulary. You will also do a self-assessment. You think about your listening, writing and reading and then you decide your level. You will also have an interview — a speaking assessment. These three help us decide your level. After you've done the tests, at about half past ten, you can have a break. After the break at about 10:45, Rebecca will be waiting for you in reception to give you your books. At 11:00, please come back here to the Learning Center, and Stewart, the manager, will give you an introduction to the Learning Center. Then at midday, I will come back. You will meet me again and I'll give you your timetables — your personal timetables that will tell you your classes, your teachers and the classrooms. Then, this afternoon you could either listen to a lecture about London or have a conversation class if you have known London already. You will start your normal classes tomorrow morning.
