Unit 3 Section A 1b&1c

Ella: What’s wrong, Peter? You look worried.

Peter: Harry and I got into a fight a few days ago. Now he’s not speaking to me.

Ella: What happened?

Peter: He borrowed my guitar. But there was an ugly mark on the guitar when he returned it.

Ella: Oh no!

Peter: I was upset, but he didn’t care. He even said, “It’s just an old guitar.” But it’s very special to me. It was from my grandfather.

Ella: That wasn’t nice.

Peter: I was angry and said things that hurt him. I feel awful now.

Ella: It’s hard to control our anger sometimes. Although he was wrong, you hurt him too. If you want to say sorry, you could call him.

Peter: I want to, but I’m afraid he’s still angry.

Ella: Well, maybe you could send him a text message first.

Peter: Good idea.
