There are many charities around the world. In today's programme, we are going to learn about four of them.

First, we have Orbis. This charity helps people with eye problems. It was set up in 1982 and has helped millions of people so far.

Next, there is Doctors Without Borders. This charity sends doctors and nurses all around the world. They provide help for people during emergencies, such as natural disasters. Volunteer doctors and nurses need to be brave to work for this charity.

Then, there is Save the Children. This organization has helped lots of children from poor families since 1919.

Finally, the World Wild Fund For Nature, or WWF, has helped protect the environment and animals since it was started in 1961. You may know its famous panda logo.
