W: The restaurant is not far. Why not go there by bike?

三、短文理解

你将听到一篇短文，短文后有五个小题。请根据短文内容，在每小题所给的A、B、C三个选项中选出一个最佳选项。短文读两遍。

W: Have you ever been to Xiangyang before? I visited it for the first time after I graduated from Wuhan University 5 years ago. I stayed at Lin Tao's home for 3 days. His family showed me around many places of interest. Since then, I've fallen in love with this ancient city. My husband and I both teach Chinese in a senior high school in Hangzhou. Last spring, we took the train from Hangzhou to Xiangyang.

There are many famous buildings in Xiangyang, but I love the bridges best. Among them the oldest bridge was built in 1970 and it's around 50 years old. It's a railway and road bridge. Besides, the longest bridge is Wolong Bridge and it was built in 2013. What's more, the widest bridge is Dongjin Bridge and it's about 36 metres wide. Last but not least, the Fengchu Bridge was open to traffic in 2020. And I think it is the most wonderful.

四、信息转换

M: In 2019, a group of friends and I took part in an event in India. The event was to raise money for a charity. About 30 teams attended the event. Each team had a car, which they drove to the east of India. The journey took eight days.

We used a website to ask people for donations.It was really easy to receive their donations online. Our team raised around ＄4,000, and in total, the event raised around ＄17,000.

And of course, the journey itself was lots of fun too. We drove for about twelve hours every day, and saw some beautiful things along the way. We even managed to have a game of football with the local people! It is an experience I will never forget, and hopefully the money we raised will go some way towards making people's lives better.
