听一段对话，回答第11—12小题。

M: Mum, can we go to the bookstore? I want to buy some books.

W: What books do you need?

M: I don't know. Our Chinese teacher said we should know more about Chinese culture.

W: I think you can start from Journey to the West.

M: Do you mean the Monkey King?

W: You're right. He is clever and brave.

M: Okay, would you like to go with me?

M: I'm glad to share my opinion about present-giving to your foreign friends with you. I think Chinese paintings are good because Chinese paintings have a long history. What's more, they are quite different from the ones in the USA. Foreign friends can learn more about Chinese art from them.The second gift I want to say is silk scarves. Silk is a symbol of our great culture and popular among Chinese people. It feels very smooth and comfortable. Why not buy them some silk scarves? I believe the exchange students will like the two gifts.

W: This Saturday Peter goes to the park. When he gets there, he puts his bike under a tall tree and begins to fly a kite. When he is tired, he puts his kite under a small tree and has a rest. Just then, his friend, Daniel, comes to chat with him. They are very happy and then they go home. Peter's mother works in the park. She sees Peter's things and takes them home. After supper, Peter's mother asks, “Where is your bike, Peter?” Peter looks around and sees his things. He says, “It's over there. I bring everything home today.”
