M: Mr Green is asking his students how they should spend their weekends. Some students are giving their answers. Gina says students should help parents do some chores at home. Alice tells her classmates that as students, study comes first, so they should do their homework and learn something on weekends. But Bill doesn’t agree. He says students should relax on weekends. They should go out to play games with their friends. However, Mike says that students should take up a hobby to make their lives colourful.

M: Last weekend, I went for a trip with my classmates. At 7:30 in the morning, we met at our school gate. We went to the North Hill Park by bike. On the way, we were so excited that we sang loudly. When we arrived there, we started to climb the hill at once. We had a picnic on the top of the hill. After that, we walked down the path and had a rest. Later, some girls danced under the trees and some boys played games happily. We didn’t go back until 4 p.m. We were tired but very happy.

What a happy outing it was!
