W: Hi, everyone. I'm Millie. I'm often asked the question how I became a reporter. Everybody expected me to follow in my mother's footsteps and become a doctor. In my last year of school, I visited a careers advisor and I drove her crazy with my choices. My first choice was a chocolate tester. Although my careers advisor wasn't very impressed, she got me the information that chocolate testers don't just sit around eating chocolate. They must also be good at marketing. That was not my strength, so I gave up that idea. Next, I had the idea of opening a pet shop. However, once when I took my dog Philip into a pet shop, I noticed that my dog tried to bite the owner. The owner told me it happened all the time. As you can imagine, that really put me off. To cut a long story short, at the end of the school year, I decided to become a reporter. That's my story.
