M: Look! The girl is putting a hat on the snowman.

W: Look! I have got a book about Shakespeare's life. He was born in 1564 and he died in 1616.

M: So he died at the age of 52. When did he finish school?

W: At the age of 14.

M: Did he marry when he was young?

W: Yes. In 1582, he married a woman called Anne at the age of 18.

W: Lao She was born in Beijing in 1899. His mother sent him to a teacher-training school in 1913. After finishing school in 1918, he became a head teacher of a primary school. In 1924, Lao She left home and went to England. He taught Chinese at the University of London and returned to China five years later. He wrote many plays, novels and short stories about people's lives. Teahouse is one o£ Lao She's most famous plays. He wrote it in 1957 and it has three acts. It tells us the story o£ Wang Li£a and the customers in his teahouse in Beijing. It describes the changes in Chinese society over fifty years.

At 10 o’clock, we help our mother clean the rooms. And we have lunch at 12:10. We have vegetables, chicken, rice and apples. Chicken is my favourite food and vegetables are my sister's favourite food. In the afternoon, I go to play with my friends. Lisa plays the violin. I get home at about 5 o’clock and we have dinner at 6:30. I think I have a happy day today.
