W: Look at this app, Anderson. I provided my information and it recommended a job.

M: What kind of information?

Thank you for coming, everyone. Today’s presentation will show how we see the development of the car, and that is why we invited all of you here today. Let’s start with power. It’s clear that petrol-driven engines have no future. There are already many alternative fuel vehicles on the market, powered by various kinds of energy  from solar power to natural gas. Some inventors have even produced cars that run on vegetable oil. But of all these alternative fuel vehicles, the most practical one is the electric vehicle. Sure, in the past, electric vehicles had their own problems, for example, a limited range, and very few recharging points, which limited their use. Now, however, recent developments in electric vehicle technology mean they can match conventional petrol vehicles in terms of performance and safety. Besides, electric vehicles are cleaner. More importantly, electric vehicles are  rechargeable, so they do not involve using any rare resources. Now let’s move on to cars’ future functions. In the future, cars will be much smarter. You just need to say "a bit warmer", and the air conditioning will change automatically. You’ll also be able to receive emails, listen to music and watch movies in your car, all by an Internet link.
