M: Don't worry, Sarah. He is so focused. He loves cartoons!

W: That's exactly the problem. I don't want him picking up bad habits!

M: You're too worried! Toby won't grow up like this. Just relax! I'll switch to an educational channel. And I'll make sure that the content on the TV is well-suited for a three-year-old.

W: OK. That's a relief.

M: These days it is windy but not very cold. It's so pleasant that I'm jogging here every day.

W: Oh, let me join you. Any plans for this weekend?

M: I intended to go to the market in our neighborhood, but my legs keep aching. Maybe I'll see a doctor.

W: Probably your daily jogging has something to do with your aching legs.

M: I don't think so. Actually my legs get better after this daily exercise! What are you thinking of doing this weekend?

W: I signed up for an online yoga class yesterday. I want to attend every day.

M: Wow, hope you do well.

W: Fredrick, what do you think about homework for university students?

M: Students at university are different from students in high school. In high school, homework is often designed with set patterns to ensure standardization — like following rigid essay structures such as the five-paragraph model. But at university, they should be responsible for their own study.

W: So, you are saying that students should study on their own?

M: They should.

W: And not be told what to study?

M: They should be told what to study, but not how they should study by giving them a rigid structure of homework.

W: Alright, but I don't think many students are motivated and disciplined like you. I have many students who won't do their homework unless I make them do it.

M: Well, certainly some students require strict rules, so perhaps you can give students an assignment every week instead of homework every day. The assignment would give students the ability to decide what and how to learn and act on their own.

W: If an animal is in need, then the RSPCA tries to help however they can.Now I am sitting with Boris, a RSPCA inspector. Nice to meet you, Boris.

M: Nice to meet you, too.

W: I heard it's been more than 200 years since the start of the RSPCA, right?

M: Yes.Started in 1824, it's the oldest animal welfare charity.

W: Impressive! What are your main efforts today?

M:You know, a lot of animals in the shelters have disease and injury, and so do the animals that we bring to our centers. They need medical help. That's what we do.

W: There are lots of cats here, but it's not just cats that you treat, right?

M: Not just cats. We see after dogs, rabbits and wildlife as well.

W: Oh, it's so surprising that you even take in rabbits and wildlife. Then what do you want to say to the people watching our show?

M: We have a role now in inspiring people to recognize their impact on the animals that we share this world with. I just wish everyone to protect nature because it's very precious.

M:Is there any way to better accept rejection? In my opinion, the first thing to consider is the place that person rejecting you holds in your heart. If that person is not important to you, that might help you answer the second question: does this rejection really matter? It doesn't make sense to react strongly to a rejection with little impact on your life.

Of course, ignoring even a minor rejection is easier said than done, since how you perceive yourself also matters.People tend to be sensitive to rejection in situations where they have such a low opinion of themselves that they even misinterpret the other person's normal reactions as rejections. While the other person doesn't treat you as you would like, they still value your relationship.

Though every relationship and rejection is unique, try to remember you're never alone. Everyone deals with rejection throughout their life — even those who seem confident. And a common method of dealing with this universal experience is to connect with those who already accept you again.
