W: Did you think your books would ever get so popular?

M: No. I was telling this to my son as a bedtime story,and I had no idea that other kids would like the stories so much. I think it's fabulous. I'm glad that other kids also like it.

M: Yes. It was published on October 7, 2014.

W: And the series has five books, correct?

M: Yes.The Lost Hero, the first book, was released on October 12, 2010.

Please listen carefully. We'll be hiking down the Grand Canyon soon. But even though it's comfortable 26℃ here now, it'll get much hotter as we go down. In fact, when we get to the bottom four hours from now, it'll be 43℃ down there. So, most importantly, everyone must take along at least three liters of water. You'd better wear comfortable clothes and take some medicine in case you suffer from an illness. The heat can kill! In fact this year four people have already died in the Grand Canyon from heat exhaustion. One of them, a healthy 24-year-old man, just died one week ago. These have been the first heat-related deaths in the Grand Canyon in five years. Normally, people die in the Grand Canyon when they fall into it. Sometimes they also just get lost or get bitten by snakes, but this year has been extremely hot. The average daily temperature has been 41℃ at the bottom. So be careful and tell me if you feel uncomfortably hot. Last, I will carry a GPS. One will take a compass and four other persons will take a map. Well, good luck!
