    W: Tomato is a kind of vegetable. It is not very sweet and people often cook it for meals.

    Tomato is from South America. Some Spanish people discovered tomatoes there and brought the plants back to Europe. At first, most tomatoes were yellow, so the people in Spain and Italy also called tomatoes "yellow apples". Today, the whole world is crazy about tomatoes. Some people use them to make delicious soup.
